🤖 🔥 Calling all AI Tinkerers in Las Vegas! Let’s have a Science Fair! 🔥 🤖

The first Las Vegas event was a hit, and folks are asking for more! So AI Tinkerers is excited to announce our next event in Las Vegas! For our next event, we’re going to try a casual science fair + networking format. Science Fair extends AI Tinkerers meetups by incorporating interactive demonstrations into networking periods. Not everyone is ready for main stage presentations, and we often receive more compelling demo proposals than our schedule can accommodate. This format creates space for sharing technical work in a more informal setting, and gives us time for even more networking!

This event will be an evening of showcasing, networking, and celebrating the innovative AI projects being built in our community. This meetup is your chance to:

• Showcase your latest AI projects: Share your work with the community during our science fair. Bring your project, demo, and be ready to discuss your work.
• Network with fellow AI Tinkerers: Meet and collaborate with other builders, developers, AI engineers, and researchers who share your passion for building the future with AI.
• Learn from industry experts: Gain insights and inspiration from leading figures in the AI space.

💡 What is a Science Fair? 💡

Bring your AI project, whether it’s an MVP, a work in progress, or just some cool code, and show it off! Get feedback, share your knowledge, and connect with other tinkerers. This is a great opportunity to get your work seen and to learn from others.

The goal of this community is to connect like-minded folks in the Las Vegas area who are actively building AI projects and create an open environment where we can all network, learn from each other, and share our work in a safe space. So AI Tinkerers is for individuals building, tinkering, and working with all things AI. If you’re interested in learning and building with AI or have hands-on experience and are eager to connect with others who share your passion, then AI Tinkerers is for you!

Please note, we screen attendance to active builders with a shared level of technical expertise in order to create a collaborative environment ideal for technical practitioners to learn and share their work. Everyone technical or interested in learning is welcome!

Claire Longo, the host of AI Tinkerers Las Vegas, will be leading the event. Claire Longo is a Lead AI Researcher at Comet and ex-Twilio and Opendoor ML Engineer and Data Scientist. She is always tinkering with AI projects related to fashion and poker. Claire has always felt that the best way to keep up with the latest AI models and tools is to use them hands on, and is looking to build a Las Vegas community of developers and researchers who will support each other and share what they are learning in a safe space.
